Even though students at Southern see each other almost everyday, whether it is during class or meal breaks, there is something about finding each other online that makes them feel even more connected. The library and computer labs are appearing more crowded these days.

What would my life have been like if, instead of being embarrassed and even ashamed of my body, I could have seen first hand that I was no different than anyone else? A tic and an infix, a hiccup and a flinch, "like" pervades so many conversations that you'd think the campus was the site of a beatnik convention.
