After Dark proves to be more than free concert

"Who cares if they're just stories, what if I need 'em?" Sings Ben Rector Tuesday night at the After Dark event in Taylor Auditorium. Rector finished the night with a wholesome and uplifting performance. His follow-up performance to the main "Sermon" of Joe White, was the main event for many students.

Adams hopes variety involves more students

Missouri Southern State University Campus Recreation and Wellness/Intramural Sports programs is hosting its first Madden Tournament. Southern sophomore Landon Adams, sports entertainment marketing major, and head of intramural sports, is hoping to "get the word out" about the spring 2010 Madden Tournament.

Monologues open for all

On Monday through Wednesday, The Vagina Monologues will return to Missouri Southern for the third year as a part of Healthy Relationships Week. At 7:30 p.m., the Black Box Theatre will host the monologues that delve into the everyday issues women face. The Vagina Monologues is an award-winning play based on more than 200 interviews conducted by Eve Ensler, the playwright and founder of V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls.
